Being Laid off after 20 years at the same company

I was laid off on Monday, 28th of October. :eyes: I started working there when I was 20 and I'll be 40 in February.. kind of shocking to be at a place for almost 20 and now not have a job. I feel like I'm doing something bad by not going to work :face_with_peeking_eye: I do want to make the best of this situation and stay positive!

# What does that mean for me?

I am working on getting my ducks in a row and confirm what is next for me to support my family. I am lucky enough to be prepared for not having work (for a certain amount of time) so meanwhile I want to pursue working for myself - meaning more content creation, more videos, more websites, potentially launching **SharedChat** as a real product and more streams.

I want to continue to stream and add additional time slots and categories to the streams. I appreciate all your support through this journey and hopefully you can get some entertainment out of me figuring out my life :smile:

Monday Wednesday Friday 7-9pm CST will not change. There will be some additional popup streams over the next few weeks.

New schedule will add additional time slots beyond 7-9pm.. looking for adding streams in the morning and midday to hit different time zones and reach more people. I need to balance time with the family and find slots that work for them as well.
